Our climbing complex has indoor and outdoor climbing facilities for beginner and advanced climbers.

Public Climbing Sessions - opening times

Sundays: 11am to 6pm - Public opening. Adults, children and families. 

Tuesday to Thursday: 6pm to 10pm - Public opening for adults of all ages. 

Singles, families, beginners and expert

Arethusa Climbing Wall offers something for everyone

with routes for all abilities.

Climbing sessions for groups

Monday & Friday evenings:

We offer group sessions ideal for Scouts, youth groups or business team building, where an instructor can take you through the skills.  Trust the rest of your team as they control your rope, all under the watchful eye of our qualified instructors – please book in advance.  There are no instructors on a Monday or Friday evening for open sessions.

Or sign up for a series of 3 workshops covering all the basics and/or advanced techniques.

Rock Rats: 

Club for junior climbers age 8 – 16 runs on Monday and Friday evenings.  Get fit and learn new skills under the watchful eye of an Arethusa Instructor.

Climbing Centre

For the professionals, come and test your skills on the Arethusa Moon Board, designed on the same principles as Ben Moon’s own system.

Annual Membership - Adult - £18
